Pensacola State RN program Fall 2019

Published

I am trying to find people that are going to be in my nursing class this fall! I dont know anyone that will be in there and am curious as to who all will be going through school with me! Anybody else going to Pensacola State for ASN in fall 2019?

Sorry, no help for Fall 2019, but I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your application experience? Were you wait listed?

It was actually fairly easy for me. I made a composite score of 88 on the HESI-A2. I have a GPA of 3.22. I turned in my application in May and got my acceptance letter in mid June. I have heard that many people get waitlisted but that was not my experience at all! I have all of my requisites completed except microbiology. That may have helped me get in.

I stand in very similar shoes! 3.22 GPA and already have an associates so I have quite a few of the requisites, except A&P1 and 2 and micro. I was going to attempt A&P1 and 2 this fall, but I think I'll split them and apply in May as well. When did you start studying for the HESI-A2?

I started studying for the HESI-A2 about a quarter ways into A&P2. Since you need to take the anatomy section of the hesi, I would suggest waiting until youve at least finished A&P1, otherwise you wont really understand what all youre trying to learn. I would recommend studying for the other sections asap! Also, for the math section, make sure you know your customary to metric conversions well!
