Pens

Any one besides me on the quest for the perfect writting utensil? What's you favorite and why?

I prefer the PhD multi pen. It has black and red ink and a pencil. They cost about 10 bucks, but this way I have everything I need all the time. The ink doesn't glob up either. Love it.

I am passionate :redbeathe about the Zebra F-301. It writes fine for small spaces and is not too expensive so I don't grieve when I lose it. You can buy them at Wal-Mart, K-Mart and other cheap dept stores.

i am very happy with the pens the drug reps leave they always seem to write well

fat padded ones. I have arthritis in my hand and I can't hang on to the skinny ones.

Agreed, the Zebra F-301 is the best pen. I only use the zebra now. It has fine point, the ink always flows smoothly, no smudges, metal clip so I don't break it (which always happens with the plastic ones), retractable so no caps to keep track of, refillable, it is available in several colors. Awesome.

My bossman gave me some really great ones. I'll see if I can find a source and let you know.

:yeahthat:

I use the Bic four colors, but they're getting harder and harder to find.

Absolutely have to have one of the multi colored pens.... ESPECIALLY FOR THE MED PASS!!!!!!!!!!!:lol2:

Any pen that is fat and free suits me just fine because I lose them like crazy.

Love the Dr. Grip. Black med point; had about three years now. I prefer it as I have a tendency to grip the pen tight while I write and since the barrel has a wider circumference (sp?) my finger doesn't cramp/ache after writing all those notes.

You managed to keep the same pen for three years? I'm lucky to go home with the one I brought with me to work! What's the secret, chaining it to your name badge? LOL

The pilot retractable fine point. The retractable pens are the only practical styles. This pen has a nice fine point, darker black ink than most retractables and does not smear, blob, or skip. I have found them only at Walmart.

I prefer these as well.
