Passing score for PNCB's PNP cert. exam

Published

I am studying for PNCB's certification exam for Pediatric NPs - Primary care. I realize that the passing score is variable from test to test depending on difficulty level. However, I would love to know if anyone can give me a general idea! It would be helpful to know if I am on target as I quiz myself with practice questions.

Thanks for your help!

Anybody know the answer to this?

Did you pass? I am studying now for PNCB. Primary care. Any suggestions? Thank you

Yes I am happy to report that I did pass! It was a challenging exam though.

I used two different review books with practice questions at the end of each section and a practice test or two at the end of the book. I also used a 3rd book that was just practice test questions. Practice tests helped me to feel more confident and comfortable with my knowledge. I scored every quiz and test and tried to get 80% or above as I recall...it was quite a while ago so I'd need to look back to be sure.

After you you have passed, my best advice is to keep up your annual education requirements (they are very reasonable to fulfill) and don't let it lapse. You don't want to have to take that exam over again!

Good Luck!!!

I would appreciate any guidance. Also thanks for advice
