Passed at York!!!

I can't believe it's finally over!! CPNE is now behind me. Such a stressful and challenging experience, but it was all worth it. Thanks for all the support over the past few months, I met some amazing people who supported me along the way and couldn't have done this without them :D

I think the workshop did help a lot- it really puts everything together. I would definitely reccomend taking some kind of workshop, but there have been plenty of people who passed without it. In my mind, I figured if I paid a little more the first time around by taking a workshop, I would hopefully save a little by not having to repeat the CPNE!!

I think the biggest thing that helped me pass was knowing that study guide inside and out. That is your bible. I read it a few times and in the last week before the exam I read it again and found more stuff I never noticed. Don't listen to everything you hear on the boards, just trust your study guide!!

MegRT - Is there a lot of info given in workshops that isnt in the study guide? Taking a workshop isnt possible for me, and I go in 2 weeks to Madison...I've got my mnemonics (sp?) down, and have ready my study guide about 3 or 4 times...now I'm going through it again, unit by unit. I've sent nursing notes and care plans to dr. a - she's approved them all...so i'm just wondering if i'll be missing some vital info from not going to a workshop?

Thx for the response Meg. I am definately taking a workshop, was just debating on taking the one you did or a 2 day. Ill have to end up doing the two day that way I can do it without missing a 24. Congrats again. Cant wait to see when you pass the NCLEX.
