Passed NCLEX & 4 years later, I want to work in the hospital—but where?

Published

So, I graduated and passed my NCLEX over 4 years ago, so I am a BSN, RN in Florida. I stayed in home health working with a patient that I told I would never leave and she has sadly passed away. I want to start working in a hospital, but I know I have lost an EXTREME amount of knowledge and skills. I have kept up with my CEUs, license renewal, and BLS.

I want to go into a hospital that will train me and still treat me like a new grad ((although I lack the fresh knowledge)). I know things will click as I go and relearn some things, but I am unsure where to start and if hospitals allow this kind of training for people like me who are getting a late start after graduation.

Any help or advice on this would be much appreciated! Thank you!
