I guess I'm still in a state of shock. I finally passed my nclex on the second try. It feels so good to finally succeed, and check off that second goal on my to do list. Not to mention, have some well deserved sleep after a few days of agony, and some PTSD of the last time I took the exam. Not knowing...the suspense, it was killing me. The struggle was real. Now I'm a nurse, an LPN. It feels so weird saying it. Lol Now I know that the next step is to get a job, but what type of job would be recommended for a new LPN? How did you prepare for your first job as a nurse...did you study meds, the area of specialty of the job like urology for example, ect.? What did you bring with you to the job besides stethoscope, watch, and notepad? How was your interview? What were some of the questions that were asked in the interview? I just want to be the best nurse that I can be for my patients, and the people I will be working with.
