to those who passed, how many hours and how long do you study for nclex preparation

Published

do you guys study like everyday or every other day? I'm just curious

I passed the nclex last week . I studied almost everyday for about 5 weeks

Specializes in Pediatrics, Cardiology, ER.

I did not study at all for about 2 months. Then studied for 2 or 3 hours a few days before the exam.

To be really honest, working in healthcare for twelve years provides quite a bit of experience. Having a related degree and license helps as well.

How many hours did you study?

It would depend on the day..but average about 4-5 hours of solid studying. I generally would review content during the day, break in the afternoon - and do practice questions at night

Good luck to you, Kimmy! :)

I studied for 6 weeks. Averaged about 4-6 hours per day. Sometimes I studied up to 8 hours.
