Hi! I have trying to search the internet for a list of pass rates for IL universities. But I can't seem to find any?!! Anyway here is the list of schools I plan to apply to:

Northern Illinois University

Loyola University

University of Illinois at Chicago

Lewis University

St. Xavier University

St. Francis University

Elmhurst College

Any word from these colleges/universities??

Thanks!

I am starting at NIU next week, and this is their info from their website:

The School of Nursing has outstanding pass rates on the state board of nursing examination (NCLEX-RN) reflecting the high quality undergraduate nursing program. The Spring 2002 graduates had a 98% pass rate and the Fall 2002 had a 95% pass rate. The pass rates for the NIU School of Nursing exceed both state and national averages for other nursing programs.

Wow! Congratulations!!! Would you happen to know if there is a waiting list for NIU??

Thanks :) NIU doesnt do a waiting list, they accept 60 students for the fall and 60 for the spring, and either you are accepted or you apply again. its kind of scary, because gpa is the only thing they look at, no interview or test scores, so its all based on your grades.

Hi! If it's ok with you, can you tell me your GPA? So I have an idea what they are looking for? Im worried because I already have a previous bachelors but my GPA was not that high. But my GPA so far for the pre-reqs is a 4.0. But I am worried about my over all GPA for my previous bachelors..

NIU is actually one of my top choices. The other one is Loyola, accelerated program.

Thanks!

my gpa when i applied was a 3.69. i dont know exactly where that fell among everyone that got accepted, but i do know a girl in my micro class that applied with somewhere around a 3.0, and she did not get accepted. but my grades were not perfect, and i got in :) also, they do look at prereq gpa separately from overall, and a 4.0 is really good. my prereq gpa was only like 3.59 or something like that.
