Hi
I was wondering if there are any part time LVN students that are currently working full time...would just like your opinion on how difficult you find the program to be while working. I'm working full time and I'm looking into a part time LVN program but I'm just a little concerned on the time I'll be able to invest in my studies while working. Can anyone just give me feedback on their experiences or at least hope I will do well.....I might just be over stressing about this.
Thank you

I cannot answer for an LPN program but I can tell you I have worked full time while attending school for my pre-reqs and through my first semester of a BSN program. I would still be working full time while going to school part time (weekend/evening) but I was recently laid off. It is difficult but if you have the drive and self dicipline than anything is possible. I go to school with many that work full time and go to school while in our second semester, most have families and seem to do okay. You just have to be willing to put forth the effort and give up some free time but all things are possible. Good Luck to you!!

I am working full time while attending and ADN program full time. It has been rough, but my grades are still pretty good. As and Bs. You have to be a very organized and disciplined person to make it work. Also be willing to make sacrifices, it has certainly been a strain on my marriage and family.
