Palomar College/MiraCosta College Nursing Program Reviews

I have been accepted into both Palomar College and MiraCosta College's nursing programs and I am trying to decide which to go to. (I've also applied to SDSU and CSUSM but I won't be hearing from them until July, so for now I'm just trying to decide between Palomar and MiraCosta.)

I have heard that Palomar's nursing program is designed to be tough so that the NCLEX will be easier and being an RN will be easier for you; however, I've also heard that they don't give out A's too often. I'm worried that my GPA will suffer, which would be an issue if I want to apply for graduate programs in the future.

I have heard that MiraCosta's nursing program is easier, they have a smaller class size apparently (20 for MiraCosta vs. 35 for Palomar) and they have a high passing rate as well. The drawback for me going to MiraCosta is that it's in Oceanside and I live in San Diego (Rancho Penasquitos to be exact). Palomar would be closer to me.

I'm just wondering if there's anybody out there that has graduated or is currently in either of these programs, or knows of anyone in these programs and can share their experiences.
