Palm Beach State College RN Program

Published

Hello i live out of state and i want to know everything that you need to know to get into the Palm Beach state college RN program. Also can you transfer your credits and all the pre-reqs you need. Also any tips that you have to getting in. I would really appreciate it.

Hi there,

This is a few months late, but thought you may still be curious. The palm beach state website, has a full list of all things required for admittance into the program. I just tried to past the link, but it seems the website is under maintenence. Go to palmbeachstate.edu..then areas of study...list all programs...select nursing and then it has the pre reqs required and all information. Also, click to download application...you can print out the page that shows you how the points work. The program acceptence is done on a points system and is EXTREMLY competitive. I have friends who have been applying for 2 yrs with all prereqs done, high gpa's and can not get accepted bc there are so many ppl trying and acceptence is only 2x per year. SO, you will see the breakdown of points, get a high schore on HESI, keep your GPA up(bc points are awarded accordingly) and definently work in the field or volunteer for that extra point. It also helps to be a Florida resident/Palm Beach County resident..as that is 2 points! So if you are moving, do your pre reqs here for a year so you can claim residency. The school does take some pre reqs, make sure your previous school is completly accredited, as they did not accept my Bachelors Degree from a previous college. Good Luck and sorry if you already knew all this by time of posting! Let me know if you need anything else, I go to PBSC! :-)

Hi all! I am looking to speak to anybody who is/was a nursing student at PBSC. I am interested in applying there from NJ and would like to get some feedback. It seems everybody I try and contact in regards to some feedback they don't answer.
