I am a graduate student at Pace University studying to become a FNP. I was told that next fall will be a very challenging semester because I will have to take pathophysiology and clinical pharmacology for advanced practice nurses. I would like to gradually start studying now by reviewing some medications each night ideally from a flashcard app on my iphone.
My question is, has anyone taken this course at Pace University or does anyone know anything about the course and what I will be expected to learn? I don't know what I should focus on, learning the major drug classes and how they work, memorizing side effects and warnings, or learn everything about the more popular ones?
Also, are there any app suggestions that you recommend for learning pharmacology?
I appreciate your help! Any advice would be appreciated, even if you had a different graduate program. Thanks!
