I am taking the CNA exam in PA in July. I am really worried about the skills part of the exam. I have major test anxiety and part of it extends from being in an unfamiliar situation, so knowing small details (that might seem trivial to some people) about how the skills exam will proceed could be very helpful. Do they call you back and tell you what skills to do and you just start? Do you do all the skills at once or do you pause and start over after each one? Meaning if I take someone's BP and the next skill is Mouth Care do I start all over from knocking on the door? Do they give you context (such as bed rails being used) or do you have to ask? Do you they use dummies for some of the skills (like peri-care) or is it always a real person?
Thank you for any help you can give me!
