Hey guys, i just finish my bootcamp today and I am so happy. Some Nursing schools have bootcamp to let the students have a little taste whats going to be like on the real thing. Now, on monday thats when we start our first semester and i'm super scared. Also, i've heard that Oxygenation and Fluid & Electrolyte are one of the hardest chapter. Now, im doing some advance reading and try to understand it. I'm just wondering if there's any tips for these topics that will help other students to understand the whole oxygenation process or the fuild and electrolye would be extremely helpful. If anyone mastered these topics please post some tips here to help student like myself and other NS. Thank you in Advance!.

make sure you have a firm understanding of hydrostatic pressure, oncotic pressure, osmotic, etc. Also have a basic understanding of the electrolytes....Na, K, Ca, P, Mg, Cl.

Our class did most poorly on this exam. It will have a lot to do with how it is taught. Make sure if your instructor isn't providing application examples that YOU ask for them. If they won't do it in class, ask them at office hours. This is a fundamental part of nursing make sure you understand it well. Look in your A&P book..that will be very helpful.

Happy studying....from a 2nd semester, 1st year student

Absolutely....Saunders is my favorite. It breaks downt the sections like F&E, It's a blue book. Definitely worth it. Of course, ask your instructors too. They will be a great resource!

Have fun!
