Out of school for 5yrs... Passed Nclex RN, Yay!!!

Published

Hello Everyone, I want to share my story with you all. I graduated in 2010, during that time I had some major tragedies in my life. I still continued to study for Nclex but I just wasn't focused. Over the years I tried everything. The reviews I tried were Kaplan, Hurst, Remar, & read many books. At the beginning of the year I went to Dr. Umez-Johnson review in Baytown, Tx. She was awesome! She taught me critical thinking strategies. She helped me dissect questions and gave me soo much confidence. After I finished her review, I purchased NCSBN. I read their topics and answered their questions. I learned a lot just from reading their questions. I also purchased Uworld questions the month of my exam. Their questions were awesome! They really made u critical think! I also prayed a lot!

Sorry so long, but the key is NEVER GIVE UP! Keep pressing!!! Remember: The race isn't given to the swift nor the strong but to he who endures!

I forgot to mentioned I tried Feuer review also throughout my studying.

Specializes in LTC, Med Surg, Renal Care.

I paid $100 using NCSBN. I can't remember how many weeks it was. It has different weeks with different prices. I also purchased Uworld, the last month before my exam.
