OR Shadow Day

I'll be shadowing in the OR next week. I've already accepted a position with the facility as a staff RN and they are offering me an 8 month orientation. I'm going up there to get a feel for the department and know what to expect when I start there in 2 months.

My question is, what do I wear? I know that I'll be changing into surgical scrubs to be in the OR, but do I wear regular work scrubs or nice street clothes. I don't want to show up under or overdressed. Anyone have any ideas? I want to make a good first impression.

Nice street clothes should be fine.

Be yourself: you already got the job!

Have fun..

I just wore casual street clothes (white polo shirt and tan slacks) with white tennis shoes. Enjoy your shadow day!:yeah:
