online refresher courses for California

I have a multi part question..

1) I've looked up refresher courses approved by the state of California but most of them are in person classes..I am looking for an online course as I will be spending part of the summer in Hawaii. Anyone have any suggestions for an online class that they felt prepared them to re-enter?

2) What should I look for in a refresher course? Obviously accepted by the state but anything else?

3) Are refresher courses mostly nursing theory and writing care plans? My IDEAL course would go over safety, medications, and documentation, abbreviations, anything that may have slipped the mind over the years.
