Hello all! I'm currently an RN practicing in the state of Georgia in the CVICU. I have finally decided I want to go back to NP school and I have been doing ALOT of research on online programs that I can complete while I'm still working at the bedside. So many options!
I have finally narrowed it down to two programs.. Duke University and Spring Arbor in Michigan.
Has anyone done the online FNP or AG-PCNP programs for Spring Arbor Uni? What really attracted me was their 7:1:7 model, where you take one class at a time for 7 weeks, take 1 week off, and start your next class.. all the way until you graduate. I have NOT found any other program with this kind of setup. Course work takes about 2 years from what I'm told and they give you an extra 6 months to finish clinical hours if you need the extra time. All of this sounds super doable for a full time or part time RN.
Any reviews out there? Tips or advice? I'd really appreciate responses.. as I'm planning on starting this October when I line some things up.
