For some dumb reason I decided to take my last prerequisite, Microbiology, online....THE DUMBEST DECISION EVER!!!!!! I am doing horrible in this class and honestly I am abosolutly praying to get a C in the class! This sucks, I am not this type of student at all and I am now second guessing myself.
Not only am I worried about this class I am worried about the impact it will have on my status as an accepted student into the nursing program. I am supposed to start this fall...will they retract my position if I get a C in the course? A C would only bring my science gpa down to a 3.2?
Does anybody have any tips on how to grasp the micro information...Idk if its just me or if my professor is asking for too much...we are 4 weeks into the course and have covered 14chapters...she doesn't give us notes or point out what is important so when she quizzes us or test us, which is every week, it seems as though what she thinks is important isn't what is sticking in my head...I have even tried going off the study guides in the back of the chapters...I just don't know what to do...:crying2:

I don't have any idea how micro would be allowed as an online course. Ours had a heavy lab segment and that's where we learned most of what we did. You really need the hands on and to see the different types of cells and what the growths look like and everything. I would look up pictures or mock labs online and see if that helps you.
The lab component is on campus in a lab...they don't offer the lab online...which also means that my lecture professor is different from my lab professor...my lab is actually pretty good andi actually feel like im learning...my problem comes from not knowing what's important for the exams...since our grades ar based on our exams
