I attempted to take an online chem and hadn't had any chem in a number of years as well. It didn't work for me and I ended up in a classroom. I had taken a lot of online classes and was surprised I couldn't get the chem to work for me online. I do know there are a lot of people here that were successful at it though! you could always try and drop. good luck
Thank you missnurse01!
For this being my first experience doing online classes, I find the majority of my courses overall convenient and manageable. But an online science courses scare me and I hear from many students that the online was easier. I don't know, I think my best bet is to stick to the classroom :)
If you are just trying to refresh, then online may be okay, but organic and biochem is tough. Is it online where you have a teacher lecturing, or is it online where you read and figure it out yourself. I took organic I and II and biochem at a large university and could have never done it online. Now I am taking the head start organic/biochem for Barry CRNA and it is online, but you can interact with the teacher and there are live lectures, so its not too bad. Plus I have exposure.
If you are able to take the class in person, this is a core class and you don't want the W or bad grade, then have to retake in person anyways. I would show up, learn the info, and play it safe.

I am finishing my RN-BSN degree next semester and applying for CRNA next year. I haven't had chemistry in almost 10 years, and is questioning going to the campus to take this CHM201 or taking it online. What do you guys think?
