ON TO FCCA

Nursing Students Excelsior

I finished all my classes by passing LS3 yesterday! I can finally see the finish line and I'm more motivated than ever to finish strong! I'm going to late register into the current FCCA and get it done!

I started all my nursing components last January 22nd and last Tuesday March 3rd I took my 6th test which it was LS3, Saturday feb. 28th I took LS1, the only one I had left was LS2 which I was supposed to take yesterday but I couldn't, I was so tired and the snow didn't help. I'm kind of disappointed that I killed myself taking all these tests in the course of a little longer than a month just to miss late registration by one more test, but the bright side is that all I have is one more test left. I got sick in the middle of all this and I didn't get the best grades but I'm proud to say I didn't fail any of them. I guess if one day I want to be a NP I should just do a regular MSN then apply to a post MSN with a NP specialty since some schools just look at your graduate GPA instead of the cumulative one.

Good luck!

Congrats! I'm taking LS3 next week any study suggestions? I'm now using EC practice test and SG101. There is just sooo much info that i am overwhemed. Any help would be awesomne, thank you!

It sucks when you feel like you missed your goal, but who knows you may have rushed it and ended up not being successful which would make you even more upset. You are almost there too. Take your time and make it happen how you need it to. Good luck future NP.

I used both those resources as well. This exam didn't have any repeat questions from the practice exams. So you will need to rely on yourself alone. lol. The content guide is adhered to, so make sure you go through it with a fine tooth comb. Know the drugs that correlate with each content area. There are quite a few "select all that apply" questions. So for example if you are studying early symptoms of a stoke then know them ALL. Also ensure you know what aren't symptoms so you can eliminate those choices and use your test taking strategies to pick an answer when you don't know something. The saunders strategy guide helped me alot with that. STUDY STUDY STUDY and you will be fine.

You are so right! It was going to be worst failing the test.. Thank you for your beautiful words.

I wish you the best!
