Hi everyone....First time post -long time reader.

Anyone scheduled to report to OIS on July 7th -8th?

I am wondering what percentage of an average OIS class are going to be nurses?

Hi Leslie.....good to know another nurse reporting. Glad to see that you have decided to serve you country. Are you excited? I am! I have been running a mile and a half QD so I do not look bad during PT. I am comming from Atlanta. Hey do you have travel arrangements yet?

Ouch!! OIS in July, make sure you drink plenty of water. I was there in AUG of 97 and it was, let's just say it was pretty warm. then agagin it's better than going in the winter, not fun. Congrats to you both. Where you headed when done?

My husband will be driving me there since we are only about 5 hrs away. I was going to drive myself but I don't know if it makes a big difference having a car there? Do you have any prior military experience? I don't, so it makes me more nervous. Email me if you can, it's good to know I will at least know someone before I get there! [email protected]

I am very excited to be going to OIS. I have been on their web site, but can you tell me what to expect? Please not the recruiter version.
