LPN to RN programs in Dayton, Ohio

U.S.A. Ohio

Do anyone know of any LPN to RN Fast track programs? I'm graduationing with my LPN IV Certification in June. While I'm still in the study mode. I was hoping to get right in to a RN program. I'm hoping its not another year and a half to finish. I finish the LPN program in nine months. I have all the A&P done for the RN program. Please can anyone help me to find a good school that doesn't have a waiting list and not to expensive?

Thanks a million

Good luck finding a place.

I'll tell you what I know about the Dayton area . . . .Rets has a program, but I'm not sure how long it takes if you have the prereqs. (It also has a questionable reputation if you take a look at posts on this site.) Kettering will still take 2 years, although you may be able to get away with part-time hours if you have enough transfer credit. Sinclair will probably take 2 solid years, maybe plus some. Clark State (in Springfield) requires you to work as an LPN for a year before you start their program. I've heard of some people making the drive to Miami University because they are good at taking transfer credit.

Columbus has a few private schools that are pricey but can get you done faster. The fastest program I know of is COTC in Newark, Ohio. That's really far away, but the program is 9 months and has a good reputation.

I hope someone posts something more helpful for you soon.
