Ohio BON - NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone! I took the NCLEX yesterday, July 16, 2014 at 08:00. I shut off at 75 questions and got the good PVT message saying I was already registered for the NCLEX. I had a lot of SATA questions, and only a handful of the drop down or other types of questions. Unfortunately, I feel like I did horrible and wasn't slightly confident during the test. I don't want to celebrate or even get my hopes up until I see my license on the BON site. I have been told that licenses are up as early as the next day, but can take up to two. To the people who have recently taken the NCLEX for the Ohio BON, how long after the exam did it take for the BON to post your license?? Thank you!!!

It is pretty quick. Usually 24 hours if you passed. 48 if you failed. I'm sure you did great. The PVT is 99% accurate :)

If you don't mind me asking when did your school get their completion letters in. Every time I call they wont tell you what day they are working on and where your school is at in their big "pile"

My school actually hasn't received their ATTs yet. I am was military and got mine before everyone else.

Specializes in Cardiac Step down/ LTC.

Ohio is pretty quick. I took my test on a Thursday, my License # was posted on the following Monday (due to the weekend). Yours should be up within 48 hrs since you took it early in the week. Congrats!

The PVT did work for me!! I passed! I'm still waiting for the BON to post my license, but the Pearson Quick Results say that I Passed!!

Hey @Kthomp08 did your status on your ohio bon verification site say pending or closed while you are still waiting for your licensed but you already know you passed thru pearson quickresult?..thanks

If it says closed you failed ?

Mine didn't say either. Mine just said "Eligible to Test" while I was awaiting my license to be posted. I got my quick results from Pearson Vue at 8:30am and my license was posted Active on the BON site around 3:20pm that same day.
