Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello everyone! I have some questions about college prerequisites for an OTA program. I'm planning to start an OTA program online through St. Katherine's Univeristy. 16 month program + over 700 hours of field work + out of town labs once a month. However. Before I begin I must complete 4 pre req classes (English composition, medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, general psychology) I have the option of doing it online through either straighterline.com or portagelearning.com (straighterline is hundreds of dollars cheaper for some reason.) Each course is 3 credits. My QUESTION IS: how long do prerequisites take to complete? I was really hoping to complete them under 5-6 months starting this summer but I have no idea if that's even possible. I finished highschool in November of 2014, but can only receive my diploma early June of 2015 so I've been waiting around for my diploma to even start any of this. I finished highschool so quick through night school, working on my own online on 4 classes which only took 3 months to complete! I have an 18 month old and my husband is the only one working but we don't even have our own place (live with his parents) so I'm stressed if I can even do these pre req's quick enough to start the actual OTA course by this fall/winter... Someone please help and let me know how long your pre requisites took to complete at home online or even how long it takes at a community college.

Straighterliner is a great source for credits. I would recommend going to degreeforum or degreeInfo to get more Info.

Hello. I have been thinking about this program. Have you completed it? If so, how was it? Thanks
