Obtaining an LVN license

I graduated from nursing school in June 2006 but I have had difficulty passing the NCLEX-RN. I have been working as a tech on my hospital floor for the past 4 months. My nurse mentor expressed support for me to obtain my LVN as a stepping stone to eventually getting my RN. Does anybody know if graduating from an accredited nursing school will enable me to just take the NCLEX test and get my LVN license?

After completing semester six of our nursing program, we are able to apply to the LVN board. Rules vary from state to state. If you contact your school they should be able to help you. You may not find the LVN board to be all that easy, when I sat boards, several RN's were taking that test for the second and third time. This was during the big tech crash and they wanted the lvn as a "foot in the door." Oh, that was a fill in the bubble test.
