Hello everyone! I have about two weeks to decide between new grad offers for JHH and NYP. I was wondering if any nurses who work for either of the institutions can tell me the pros and cons. I don't want to provide the units that I was offered the positions on, to stay anonymous.

I'm really looking for a holistic picture as in work culture, experience of living in NYC or Baltimore, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

FYI: I am licensed in both states. I was originally licensed in Maryland, decided I wanted to live in NY, The NYP process took so long that I ended up applying to J. Hopkins two weeks ago and to say the least am now completely blown away by the Hopkins hospital system and the affordability of Baltimore.(I'm from DC, very, very expensive city!)

I am a very artsy/hipsterish/alternative person, I am very into the rooftop bar scene, vegetarian, and bilingual. 10 years from now I see myself doing Healthcare Policy/lobbying and or International Development.

They're both great health systems, so if anyone is able to give me a little insight into the world of both institutions and which you could possibly see me doing the best at, please reply!
