NY vs.NJ jobs

I just received my California RN license but I live in NJ (20' minutes commute to downtown NYC). I need to decide between NY vs. NJ before I start working on changing my license but I am not sure which state to pick. Can anyone please give me some pros and cons? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless.

I think for an extra fee you can be registered in both states. But I'm not entirely sure. However, I have several professors that are registered in NY and PA, since I have some clinicals in PA as well. I would check into that. If later down the road you want to change jobs you don't have to worry that you can only stay in NY or visa versa. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for the quick response to my question.

I will try to get both; NJ and NY.
