NVCC Virginia. question

Hi guys.

I'm going to apply to NVCC Northern Virginia Community College next month and I want to know if someone want to share how did you score at the TEAS n your GPA and if you got in or not? I just want to get some idea. My GPA is 4 and my TEAS is English 66% reading 72% and math 87%. I'm going to take the TEAS again. So let me know about you. Thank you.

I am in the program now. Your GPA is 4.0 out of 4.0? You will not have a problem getting in with a 4.0 GPA. I don't know what their preferred TEAS score is. You are probably ok with what you have. Maybe brush up on the English stuff a little if you are going to re-take it. Enrollment has been low lately because so many students are going straight to the BSN programs ... and there has been administration turn over which has caused things to be a bit less orderly at the school than would be ideal. This just means they are going to be happier to have you. With a 4.0, you clearly know how to study. If you work hard at this program, you will do well. Good luck to you!

Hi cfcgogo. Yes I will take the TEAS again for sure. I want to get at least 85 or over on each test. Thank you for your comment. How is the program?

Wow! 4.0 GPA is great! I got higher scores on Teas (84 grammar, 90 reading, 100 math), but my GPA is 3.3. Depending on who you ask, they will say something different. I've had people telling me that the Teas were more important, and GPA was just a tiebreaker, and the other way around... Good luck.

I got Reading 72, English 87.5 and Math 87.5. I hope to get in.
