hello Ss, did you take the course?

Well nursing is a caring profession. Doctors treat diseases, while we Nurses treat the patients' response to regimens and management plans the physician prescribed so you would be exposed to and taught a lot of things that would prepare you for your future role as a Nurse in any setting or field.

As a student, you would take tons and tons of science subjects like biology, chemistry, bio chemistry, pharmacology, anatomy, psychology and nursing subjects which will equip and prepare you to work in various fields and specialties like Community, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric, Obstetrics, Pediatric, Intensive Care Nursing. You would also have to take Fundamentals of Nursing to hone your skills (assessment, drug administration, catheterization, bedside etc). Not to mention the liberal arts, math and other general subjects like ethics, nursing research and nursing management.

It's tough because you also have an RLE (a.k.a. OJT) when you would render some time in hospitals, community centers or skills laboratory on top of all the classes you would need to sit in at school.
