Nursing schools in/near Los Angeles

Hey All!

I am doing my pre reqs now and wondering if it is realistic to expect to get in on the first try. I'm applying to

several because I'd like to increase my chances. (except private too $$$) Is is realistic to expect to wait a year

or two? I was going to apply to those who accept on merit and those who go by lottery. For those of you who

are in a program now, how long did you wait, how many schools did you apply to? I'm in Los Angeles ... in the

middle... I am willing to north, south, east and west!
