I am looking into nursing as a career which I could take to countries that wouldn't get the medical care they needed if it weren't for people who want to go to those places!! I was looking into programs and I thought I could get an A.S. in nursing and become an RN. I just want to do a quick program so I could get with my life as I am 26. The one school I looked into had this statement under their Approval/Accreditation: This program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and is a member of the National League of Nursing. The VWCC Nursing Program does not participate in voluntary NLN-AC accreditation.
Does that mean that they are not accredited?? Also would it be better if I went and got my Bachelors rather than an Associates?? Thank-you in advance for your time and answers!!
