Nursing School Convocation Speech Help!!

Hello,

I am giving the Convocation speech for my university's nursing school, and don't want to just give the 300 people sitting there a class in how to use the Library. I think the audience would like to know why learning how to research helps when they graduate and work in an hospital or where ever they end up. I know many hospitals have a computer program on the floor which helps the nurses when a situation comes up that is new.

Can anyone out there help me figure out what to talk about? I have 45 minutes.
