nursing is a rollercoaster ride! needed to share this :)

- Contemplating on this journey I decided to embark

-stress runs high ; pockets arent deep

-hard when its alone ; you're your only rock

-remaining strong ; this promise i keep

-they say "good things come to those who wait"

- i disagree, its really for those who try

-halfway thru this, getting back my emotional state.

-i miss that twinkle that was once in my eye

- letting go of the past, and capturing my dreams

-it wouldnt be nursing- if it wasnt a rollercoaster ride

-focusing on the positive, taking this to the extreme

-more than a few who will coincide

-wish others could see all the exhaustion this entails

-but unless your going thru it, your mind is blind

-thru all the judgements, i refuse to fail

-one day @ a time - always on the grind

-it may be raining now, but the sun will start to shine

-seeking out the goal i wish to obtain

-and then my life, ill be ready to redefine

-laughing at the journey, my future ill maintain

-ill be a nurse, and stronger than before

-doing what i love, because i gave it my all

-thats when ill realize i really did score

-anytime theres a doubt, ill look @ my degree on the wall!
