University of Illinois at Chicago Masters in Health Informatics?

I was recently accepted into University of Illinois at Chicago's Masters of Science in Health Informatics and Northwestern University's Masters of Science in Medical Informatics. I have a strong leaning towards UIC as it seems to be an older, more mature program. I haven't seen it mentioned much (at least from browsing the first few pages of this forum), so I'm wondering if anyone has any input on their program? Or any alumni that can voice their experience?

(My background in case it is helpful: Med-surg/Oncology RN with 2 years experience, at a hospital that uses EMR and barcode medication administration. I have always been computer proficient. I'm interested in pursuing this degree because I found myself constantly thinking of ways to make the EMR's/barcode med systems better, safer, more efficient. The job of beside nursing is hard enough as it is. I want to help make technology assist in alleviating some of that and help nurses do what they do best - take great care of their patients :) )

I am in my first semester at UIC. So far, so good! I think that the instructors do an excellent job communicating with the students. I looked a two othet schools that offered comparable programs, but felt UIC was the right choice. I'm excited to see what next semester will bring.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm leaning heavily towards this school, I just feel like it's the right choice. I appreciate you sharing your experience so far :)
