Nursing Home computerized charting, please help

Hello,

I attend college at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and am doing a project for my Technical Communications class. For the project, I am researching how technology can be implemented into a Nursing Home setting sucessfully. I need to find answers to questions like: What kind of hardware and software are most Nursing Homes who have computerized charting use? How do nurses feel about transitioning to computers from purely paper? Was the transition costly? How does using computers instead of physical paper effect quality of care for residents?

If anyone can help to answer these questions, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
