Nursing Ethics committee questions

Hi all! I am a MSN graduate student at Grantham U and looking to interview a member of an ethics committee. Just a quick interview, I will post questions below but am happy to speak on the phone or via email.

1.     How did you become interested and involved in being a part of the ethics committee?

2.     Would you explain how the committee functions? How many people are on the committee? Does membership change? Who presents cases?

3.     After you meet and discuss cases, how do your findings impact change in practices?

4.     If a nurse makes a mistake but it does not cause harm to the patient, should they still disclose the mistake to the patient?
