2. My nursing diagnoses are a true reflection of what I actually do.
3. There is too much emphasis on psychosocial aspects and not enough on medical aspects of care (In Nursing diagnosis categories).
4. Nursing diagnoses help me set clear expectations for my patients.
5. Nursing care plans help me to give shift reports.
6. Nursing care plans help me to provide care to "unfamiliar" patients.
7. Nursing diagnoses make the nursing profession more "professional".
8. Nursing diagnoses should be tailored to each specialty of nursing (i.e. rehab, ICU, pediatrics)
9. A better name for nursing diagnoses would be nursing guidelines.
10. Writing a nursing care plan is important.
11. A good nurse doesn't need a written care plan to take care of a patient.
12. Nursing care plans are a time saver in providing patient care.
13. Care plans are helpful only as an academic experience for students.
