is it normal to feel bad when other students in class get the information faster thatn me and have better critical thinking when testing?? i just feel sad that i know but not that much as others in my class, they have such a good criticaal thinking :(

Hi, I am new here and am about to go to orientation tomorrow morning for the LPN program I will be starting next month. I was on you tube earlier, I coudn't sleep and needed some encouragement. This RN said best and I quote "Don't be defined by your failures". Never look at what others are doing because there will always be a better student than you.Focus on your strenghts and work harder on your weaknesses. Examine the way you are studying and see if you need to make some changes. Sometimes you get into bad study habits and don't even realize it until your grades start to drop. Try, if you haven't already, to study within a group with these students and learn some new techinques for testing. Finally, to answer your question, yes!!! It is normal, we all doubt ourselves at sometime or another but "NEVER" sell yourself short you were accepted into one of the hardest programs to get into that has to count for something? GOD, will see you through have faith and keep pushing forward. GOD bless!!!

happy4eg : i just feel so frustruated, i dont know what to do, am i loosing my time on this lpn program instead of doing my rn? would i find a school to do my rn? i am so scared i can't even sleep, i don like online schools, i need a professor infront of me teaching me. I am so scared you can't imagine, and if i find lpn hard, would rn be harder>?
