Hello,
I need some information from all of you for a nurse educator at my hospital. I am the medical librarian there and she asked me for information I can't find in the databases - it happens sometimes. Sometimes going right to the source is the best answer.
Topic she asked about: best practice assessments on patients with non-violent restraints. Our assessments are very frequent but our travelers tell us that they have never seen this. I (the librarian) can't find any guidelines/protocols/ EBM/EVP for time frequency) so am reaching out to see what people in NYS, east coast or anywhere are doing as far as frequency. Any New York hospitals specifically but will take any responses. Please! 😀
