Hello everyone,
This is my first time using the forum so excuse me if i'm doing this all wrong!
As many of you are nurses I thought this would be the best place to find advice on how I can travel with my degree in Children's nursing. Most recently I have heard about how many countries only take general trained nurses Doing another 3 years at university does not appeal . I graduate this September and have already started looking for local jobs (Northern Ireland), which there are absolutely none of! In fact, I have an interview for a job which doesn't even exist. Hmmm.. so please, any help will be much appreciated. Kind of feeling down about spending the last 3 years working my butt off for to probably end up getting a job in retail or something.
Hope to hear from you all soon,
Stephanie

If you are in Ireland, you will have better luck in England or Australia/New Zealand. There is nothing here in the states for new graduates. If you have been working for at least two years, I would contact travel nursing companies that will bring you over. There are positions available for specialty nurses, based on my friends from overseas who have them.
Good luck.
Thank you!
