Nurses role in Eriksons

I need help with erikson's stages. My teacher wants us to give examples of abnormalities of the different stages and I know what would happen to them to cause the abnormality but I cant think of any real life examples. If any one has any examples or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!! :)

You mean EVERYONE you know, have ever met, encountered, or watched on televison has adequately mastered each of Erickson's stages appropriately?

Wow. You either have a lot of very well adjusted people in your life, or a lovely pair of rose-colored spectacles.

All kidding aside, if you cannot find examples of persons in the media who have failed to reach Erickson's goal attainment at various stages, you're not looking very hard - and I'm not inclined to do your homework for you. I will, however, give you an idea of where to start looking.

Try the entertainment/celebrity news section of the paper.

think about old people then. If someone tells you he is not afraid to die, then he has probably achieved some level of self-actualization. He is content and knows that death is part of life. Someone who is scared and mean to caretakers, etc. probably has not reached that inner peace.
