Hello, I'm a second year RN student looking for a nurse tech position. I am writing my resume now. Can my resume be 1.5 pages or do I have to stick to 1 page? Also, if you have ever been a part of the hiring team, can you tell me what they are looking for? I have no medical experience, just my clinical hours which I will list. I do have a long steady work history, but I wondered what skills I could pick out that would catch the eye of the employer. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate the help.
Thank You,
Brittney

I've been using two page resumes for years (going to RN school is a career change for me) including my current resume that has worked in so far as getting interviews. That stated, if I was at the 1.5 page mark, I would look at either what could be cut to make it 1 page, or what could be added to make both pages of similar length without seemingly being fluffy.
