Nurse Residency Programs for New VN grads

It's probably not what you want to hear, but I would try long term care, a doctor's office, or a rehab facility. The job market in California is very tight right now everywhere, but especially in hospitals.

update: UCSD received 700+ applications and they are only offering 8 New Grad RN positions

Who would have known that getting a RN job as a New Grad is harder than getting into Ivy League schools?

could you believe that?

It is hard to get into the nursing programs as it is!!! the long process for paper work....... waiting for results from the BOARD and NOW is so hard to find a JOB for new Grads!!!!!!!

Yeah, they all ask for experience but how are going to get experience IF they DO NOT give us the opportunity to work for them, how stupid is that?

This is getting scary for me............. :uhoh3:
