Nurse Recruiter Information

Hi All!

I am a recent grad, taking my NCLEX next week. I am looking for some help in the job department. I have over 7 years experience in patient care but I know its super difficult to get any feedback from HR departments when applying for jobs through the hospital websites.

Does anyone have any nurse recruiter contacts for hospitals in the NYC/Long Island area? Any help would be super appreciated!

Hi Ashley,

Congrats! Good luck on the NCLEX. You should try looking on LinkedIn. There's a ton of nurse recruiters on there. You may have to upgrade you LinkedIn membership in order to PM nurse recruiters. Also, make your PM short and sweet. It's hard getting replies back.

There's a job fair on June 13th in NYC hosted by Nurse.com. Look into that.

How can I find other job fairs in the area? I've tried googling to no avail. Is there a good central website for that kind of thing?

You're welcome. I found out about the job fair through nursing magazines mailed to my home...like Advance, Nurse.com. You should also apply to Indeed to get a daily list of all RN jobs available.
