International NP's

Hi I am an NP Candidate in Australia - in Rural and Remote which encompasses almost anything including ED, Acute care, Primary Care. I have one Masters and working on a second - Master of Nursing Practice - Nurse Practitioner. We are a long way behind the USA in the development of the role. I am the first NP at the small hospital where I work and the role is breaking new ground. Is there anyone who would like to chat about the commonalites of the roles between the countries? Or has anyone got any tips or techniques they can share I would be grateful. My course is online and I pick up all my practical at my workplace. I am mentored by a couple of VMO's . If I cant learn what I need to know here I have to find it elsewhere.
