Hello all!
Any NP students getting ready to graduate and looking into residency/fellowship programs? It seems like a great way to transition into practice. Has anyone participated in a program, and if so, what were your thoughts? I'm a bit nervous about getting an NP job locally, as I live in a rural area and clinics are so short-staffed. I'm not sure what sort of orientation process they have in place, or if they would expect a new employee, even a new grad, to hit the ground running. Completing a residency/fellowship seems like a good solution.
Any insight would be much appreciated!
