Specialties Ob/Gyn

allo all...back when i was a wee wanna be nursing student in my prerequisites, I was dreaming of the day that I would complete my master's in nurse midwifery...
for some reason, halfway through my nursing education, I became more attracted to becoming a women's health nurse practitioner. i currently work LDRP as a GN, and contigent in NICU.
I think that their descriptions are very parallel with the exception of WHNP not being trained in actual labor and delivery...is that correct?
now i am kinda confused as to what i really want to do, and if there is anyone out there with experience in either field could give any insight, it would be most appreciated.
thank you very much in advance---joy
