Nurse In Africa

Published

Hey Everyone!

My passion is to become a nurse in Africa. I am currently doing a degree in nursing at uni, and wondered how i could get contacts in Africa, or how i would go about applying for a job somewhere in Africa?

I know that parts of Africa can be dangerous, and i appreciate any constructive criticism or advice?

Thanks!:nuke::up:

First you have to choose a country in africa that you want to go, and it's not as dangerous as some people say. Choose a country and visit first you will be surprised.:wink2::yeah:

One of my friends went to Africa(I think it was a rural area in South Africa) a few years back for volunteering. She was ended up helping people there as a medical assistant. She wasn't a nurse back then, but she had some medical related training, I suppose. I am not sure which volunteer agency she used, but there are many of these out there. You might want to contact them. Sorry, I can't help you much.

Good luck on pursuing your dream!!
