Nurse from another unit

I work in long term care. Has anyone had any issues with aides going to another nurse on a different unit and bringing them back to your unit to check on one of your patients without the aide telling you? Like the aide thinks you are not addressing a situation quick enough, but you've already assessed said patient and have taken care of the situation?
